The day I stopped people pleasing…

--

…is the day I had time to do the things I love. Instead of doing things to be loved. (Feel the difference in that.)

So often we feel this need to please others because that is how we learned to get love. We didn’t know any better or any different. And we wanted to be loved…to be heard, seen, held.

There is no blame for wanting to be loved and therefore it wasn’t wrong to people please. Hold yourself for a moment and recognize that you wanted to be loved because you had no idea that you are love.

You had no idea how precious you are, how essential you are, how beautiful you are, or how you matter to life.

Hold that part of you that didn’t know. And remind that part that love includes you. That precious includes you. That essential includes you. That beautiful includes you. That you matter because you are here.

When you recognize that love includes you…you no longer need to people please to be loved because you already are love.

Much Love & Light,
